CANCELLATION POLICY
Please note that because The Sisu Circle Adventures are limited to a small number of attendees, our cancellation policy is in place to help guests and The Sisu Circle work together to share expenses that may arise from unexpected cancellations.
*** If your plans change, your entire ticket is transferable to another attendee. You can either suggest someone to fill your spot (we reserve the right to vet suggestions for physical readiness), or The Sisu Circle can reach out to our waitlist (when applicable) on your behalf to try and re-assign your ticket to another person.
If we are unable to fill your spot with a physically qualified candidate within 7 days, the following terms will apply:
- Each ticket to a Sisu Circle event includes a non-refundable fee which equals 25% of the total trip cost.
- Refunds requested more than 150 days from the first day of the originally scheduled event dates will be issued a refund, less the non-refundable fee per ticket purchased.
- Refunds requested between 149 days and 61 days from the first day of the originally scheduled event dates will be issued at 50% of the registration fee.
- There are no refunds or ticket transfers available within 60 days of the first day of the originally scheduled event. Exceptions cannot be made for any reason, including weather, injury/illness, or personal emergencies. No refunds or credits will be given for failure to attend or failure to complete the trip, or for arriving late or leaving early. We strongly recommend that all participants purchase travel insurance (see below).
In the rare event of a cancellation by The Sisu Circle due to low registrations, the participant will be given the option to transfer all payments to a future adventure or to receive a full refund. We cannot compensate participants for airfare, hotel and travel costs incurred.
In the rare event of a cancellation by The Sisu Circle due to dangerous weather, political unrest, acts of god and other force majeure events, any refund provided will depend on The Sisu Circle receiving a refund from the venue. The Sisu Circle cannot compensate participants for airfare, hotel and travel costs incurred.
To cover these risks, it is strongly recommended that all participants purchase travel insurance.
Travel insurance can protect participants against participant cancellation, The Sisu CIrcle cancellation, lost or delayed baggage, medical expenses and the cost of repatriation should the participant become ill or injured. It is strongly recommended that all participants purchase travel insurance, including a 'cancel for any reason' option in order to protect them against the rare chance of cancellation.
Travel insurance can be purchased at Travelinsurance.com or Faye.
